Don’t Sell My Personal Information
We don’t sell your personal information.
That’s the short version. This is a solo real estate practice, not a data broker, an advertising network, or a platform. Selling or renting contact information has never been part of how we operate, and it never will be.
Who “we” means
This notice covers Ian Greenen LLC, operating as Ian Greenen Real Estate. Ian Greenen is a Florida-licensed Sales Associate at Douglas Elliman Real Estate. Any information you share with us through this website stays with this practice and is used only to respond to your request and provide the services you asked for.
Is this a legal requirement?
For most large national companies, yes. The California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA/CPRA), Florida’s Digital Bill of Rights, and similar state laws require a “Do Not Sell” option. Those laws generally apply to businesses above large revenue or data-volume thresholds.
We don’t meet any of those thresholds. We’re publishing this notice anyway, as a courtesy and as a matter of principle, so anyone who wants to exercise their opt-out rights with us has a clear way to do so, regardless of where they live.
What information we collect
When you use this website or contact us, we may receive:
- Your name, email address, and phone number
- Your mailing address or the area you’re searching in
- Property preferences you enter in search or valuation tools
- Messages you send through the contact form
- Basic analytics from your browser, such as page views
We collect this information because you’re asking us to help you buy, sell, or learn about a property, not to package it up for anyone else.
Who we share information with
In the ordinary course of real estate business, some of your information goes to the parties required to complete a transaction: the brokerage (Douglas Elliman), the MLS, a title company, a lender you chose, an inspector, and similar service providers. This is not a “sale.” It’s the normal course of representing you in a real estate transaction.
We do not trade, rent, or sell contact lists. We do not provide your information to advertising networks in exchange for payment.
Global Privacy Control (GPC)
If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal, we treat it as a valid opt-out request. You don’t need to email us separately. Most major browsers and privacy extensions support GPC. If you’re not sure how to enable it, globalprivacycontrol.org has instructions.
How to make a request
If you want us to confirm what we have on file, delete what we have, or add you to a do-not-contact list, email:
Ian Greenen, Sales Associate at Douglas Elliman Real Estate
ian@iangreenen.com
Put “Privacy Request” in the subject line. Tell us what you want: confirmation, deletion, opt-out, or all three. We’ll respond within 30 days.
If email isn’t an option, you can also write to:
Ian Greenen LLC
c/o Douglas Elliman Real Estate
340 Royal Poinciana Way, Suite M302
Palm Beach, FL 33480
Your rights
You have the right to:
- Know what personal information we have about you
- Request that we delete what we have
- Opt out of any sale or sharing of your information (again, we don’t do this, but the right is yours regardless)
- Not be treated differently for exercising these rights
