Nora House: West Palm Beach’s Newest Luxury Condo in the NORA District
The NORA District has been the biggest story in West Palm Beach development for the past two years. Forty acres of old rail-line warehouses north of downtown, getting a $1 billion makeover into restaurants, retail, a boutique hotel, and now — the first for-sale condos.
Ronto Group just announced Nora House, an 11-story building with 117 residences at 1105 North Dixie Highway. Prices range from $2 million to $6.5 million. Construction is expected to start in 2027 with completion targeted for 2029.
What Makes the NORA District Different
Most new condo towers in West Palm Beach sit along the waterfront or downtown core. Nora House is different. It’s anchored inside a mixed-use district that already has tenants — retail is 71% leased, restaurants are open, and the Nora Hotel (a 201-key boutique property from BD Hotels) breaks ground this year with a Fall 2026 opening.
That matters because you’re not buying into a promise. The neighborhood is already taking shape.
The district sits between Palm Beach Lakes Boulevard, Dixie Highway, Quadrille Boulevard, and the historic Florida East Coast Railway corridor. It’s walkable to Clematis Street and the waterfront but has its own identity — more creative, less corporate than the downtown high-rises.
The Building
Here’s what we know so far about Nora House:
- Developer: Ronto Group (partnering with NDT Development, Place Projects, and Wheelock Street Capital)
- Height: 11 stories
- Units: 117 residences
- Price range: $2M – $6.5M
- Location: 1105 North Dixie Highway, West Palm Beach
- Construction start: 2027
- Estimated completion: 2029
Ronto Group has a strong track record in South Florida — they’re behind projects like Eleven Eleven Central and The Ritz-Carlton Residences in Sarasota. They know how to deliver luxury product on time.
How This Fits the Palm Beach County Market
West Palm Beach has seen a wave of ultra-luxury towers — Mr. C Residences, The Ritz-Carlton Residences, The Berkeley, Olara. Most of those start at $1.7M and go well north of $5M.
Nora House slots into that same tier but offers something the waterfront towers don’t: a walkable, mixed-use neighborhood with restaurants and retail at your doorstep. For buyers who want urban energy without the high-rise-on-the-water formula, this is the play.
My Take
I’ve been tracking the NORA District since before they broke ground on Phase I. The velocity of leasing — 71% in the retail phase — tells you the market is validating the concept. Adding residential product on top of an already-functioning neighborhood is a much lower risk proposition than buying into a condo tower surrounded by parking lots and a rendering.
